So.. I LOVE the 166's I purchased, but MAN OH MAN do those things SUCK TO CLEAN! I spend more time cleaning my rims than the entire exterior of the car. Has anyone found a solid tool that gets in the grooves of those spokes to make cleaning them easier on my knees and fingers?

I used to drive a 1995 M3 with the motorsport wheels, and they were a pain to clean too! I never really found anything that did as good a job as good old fashioned elbow grease! But, boy when they were clean!!

i found that cutting up a few sponges and using my fingers.. did the job... all these gadgets you have to go over with something else anyway.. might as well do it once.. and right.. IMO... when i get to the wheel.. i sit down.. cause i know ill be a while.. lol..

This was one of the reasons as to why I got the 128 style wheels and not the 166's

I use a Large detailer extra plush glove towel. Its allot easier for me and also faster covering more area and getting into tight spots as well.

Hmm... if the 166's are hard to clean, I wonder what the 172's will be like....

I'm thinking of getting one of the above for the car.....
