I would replace steps #2,3 and replace them with a traditional hand wash with either a Home Depot GS (grout sponge), or a Sheepskin Wash Mitt (preferable). In a 5 gallon wash bucket, I would use 2-3 cups of Vinegar.
Do you have a preferred brand/vendor for the sheepskin wash mitt? After a quick search, there seems to be a wide range of prices, and I imagine, quality.

Examples of a solvent include Prep-Sol, Prep-All, and Duplicolour Grease & Wax Remover. You can find them at most retail locations that sell chemicals, paint or detailing products.

How about a start to finish guide. My paint is well almost 4 years old now, lots of swirls, minor to faint scratches, dullness, you name it... Its not to bad in the shade, dark days, but once the sun hits it, ewww....
Where to start? What products to use?(ones easy to come by) ( I have all the meguirs and or mothers you can get lol)...
