Look around like the others say but since you already did that and you can't find the car you want for the same money best thing is to keep it.

Why would I want to take on another $58k car, which is essentially the same as mine except for 45 more HP and a slightly upgraded interior? The lease payments would be well into the mid 700s and the lease cost would far exceed the cost of keeping my current car. Money factors and residuals aren't what they once were.

My car is pristine and essentially near-new with full warranty and full maintenance for another 2 years. The payment on my buyout is only $579 at 2.9% over 60 months, and I can pay it off, or sell it any time I wish. Plus, I can offload the runflats, which you cannot do with a lease. After that time, I'll consider the F10 when it comes out.

I'd consider the 335i as an alternative, but every time I step into an E90, I fell like I'm downgrading to a lower quality car. The doors are light and tinny and it doesn't have the spaciousness and heft of the E60.

How did you get to BMWNA to negotiate...through the dealer, or by contacting them directly? I have made a few overatures to my dealer about considering buying it after the lease expires if they'll come off the residual, and nobody seems to have much interest or idea about how to go about it.

Can you share how you got to the "'numbers" stage with BMWNA?
