Dealer reckons only 1000 535d Sports are going to be released into UK this year. So discount is crap- 'cos its rare. Anyone got any % discounts for the UK car? What are they?

I got 7% without trying too hard - and a reasonable part ex too (I checked the trade and forecourt resale values). Try bmwbuyers.co.uk as a starting point.

I got over 7% too, check out all the UK broker sites & then go armed with this info to the dealer.

Also check out the BMW used cars - the dealerships have targets & will preregister cars to hit them -- these then appear in BMW used showroom with very few miles.

Haggle hard, & when your happy with the deal haggle some more ... I got more discount ??? & BMW roofbars in on the deal

Good luck

I got 6% and great trade in. Try for 8-10% as the 535d's are not selling well. Most diesels sold are 525's so the dealer says.

were these discounts for factory orders or for cars that were already in the UK ? as i understand things, the discount available to an "in-stock" car is greater than for a factory order.

Mine was for factory order - but I think you are correct - bigger discounts may be available for in-stock vehicles.

Offered 10% as an opening position on a factory order. If I decide to go ahead with the order I will get more.
