Claudio, owner of Pro Tint in Dallas has tinted windows very successfully for me before this car. He had already put clear bras on three or four cars including his wife's. Since he was also doing the Huper Optik for me, I decided to take a shot with him and am glad that I did.

As a side note, I took the blemish by for him to assess today. He thinks he could cut a rectangle and patch it. I decided to watch it for a while and see what it does. He pointed out that the adhesive is still covering the paint and the bra successfully protected the paint and deflected whatever away from the bumper. He is confident that he can repair it with minimal distraction to the appearance. I will probably do it one day. I'm thinking it won't be much of a job the way he talked. I picked it up on the open road cruise from Florida to Dallas in June.

 

Anyone one know how I can find a dealer who can install the clear Bra in my area?

Tsandas, do you belong to the BMW Car Club of America? If so, the local chapter has a forum that should be a great source for local info like a good clear bra installer.

If not, try calling around to window film installers and asking about their experience with clear bra installation. Ask to see a customer's car.
