Is it true there's good deals on leases right now?

My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
Default

I've been saving up for months for the chance to pull the trigger, and I hear dealers are giving lots of incentives for the E60 now. Questions:

1. Is it only on the 545 (because the 550 is coming)?

2. What about the 530? (I don't really NEED the V8 )

3. Can I still order a 545 now, or am I limited to what's left in stock?
(How much longer do I have until dealers stop taking orders for the 545?)

Thanks,
Rich

PS: I assume I'll have to order because I want Silver Gray/Auburn/SMG.

if you are leasing, a MY05 545 will cost you less than a My06 530. The rates are great and it is a great time to lease a 545.

Yes there are screaming deals right now.

Money factors on the 545 are .001 which equates to 2.4% cost of money. It is cheaper right now to buy a 545 than a 530. I paid 2% over invoice and .0012 MF. My lease payment is under $700. Go for the V8. I know that there are cars scheduled for production in at least July. You should be able to order one to spec right now fairly easily. Hope this helps.

I just ordered an '05 545 at a MF of .0012 and 3% over invoice. It was less than an '06 530. You can still find a few odd ball '05 530s at dealers, which can be had for a MF of about .0014, but you have to very flexible in terms of color/options because not much is left. Generally, all the '05 530s that I found were loaded up with tons of options, so I ordered a 545i with just the sport package to keep the cost close to the 530s. If you aren't sure whether to get the 530 or the 545, I sugget you go to car and driver and read the review of the 2004 545 vs. this months review of the 530.

Good luck.
