Hello,
I am new to this forum. I have ordered an 06 530XI, Monaco Blue w/ Auburn Interior, Premium Package, Cold Weather, Navigation, and Auto. I was wondering how long it usually takes from shipping to dealer delivery (in Minn.). Thank.

Welcome to E60 forums FJKMD.
Once the car leaves the plant it should be on a ship within 2 weeks maximum. Allow another 2 weeks on the water to the east coast. Another 2 to 4 weeks to get to you depending on customs and the VPC (Vehicle Processing Center).

Welcome to the forum, and nice selections
. Please check the faq section of forum and the topic is covered in detailed by Lomag. Basicically the route is from the dock to go to VPC and from VPC to boarding a truck to the dealership. If you have not added options like M-tech kit or there no damage to car from shipping, VPC processsing should be done within 3 days. Perhaps 1 week from unloading at the dock to the dealer lot is a good estimate. Once at the dealer, prep of the car usually takes 24-48 hrs.I'm not sure your location - the estimates I gave you from the arrival dock is for a typical US delivery without complications.

My Ride: 2006 530Xi delivered on 1.4.06: Black Sapphire w/ Black interior, Steptronic, Sports package, Premium package, Premium Sound, NAV, Sirius, Comfort Access.
Took me 6 weeks from the time I ordered it to the time I picked it up on 1/4/06. It should have been shorter but it sat at the port in NYC for a few extra days during the holidays.

It took 10 weeks for mine, I had the Aero kit installed at VPC, wich took an aditional week, so 9 weeks average. Dealers say between 8 to 10 weeks. Good Luck waiting, its tough.

7 weeks or so for you to reach Minn.
Forget it. wait and get the 07.
