Mine did it no problem. Did you buy the car from them? If yes did you ask the sales guy or a service rep. Mine ran it but they have to fax it to you, the system doesn't work with email beleive it or not...

This is a used car that is for sale at used car lot.

I've been searching on be-half of a co-worker. Co-worker called up the local BMW dealership and spoke w/ a salesman. The salesman couldn't even find the car via the VIN. Going on "blah blah blah" how he's doing this search just as a 'curiosity'

Anyway, thanks mhs for the tip, I called up the dealership and talked to the service department.. now THERE are the type of people I wanna talk to.. Car guys!!!

The service guy was able to tell me a little history about the car and that it still has a CPO until May of 2010... this is really gonna push my co-worker over into getting this car, which is good for him, bad for me cause then now I'm really gonna want a E60 as well lol.. funny how things snowball.

edit.. wait a sec... CPO ARE transferable aren't they?

wait wait... is it like a BMW, Nissan, Ford, Toyota used car lot?

it isnt one of those shady "Bob's Used Car Emporium" type places, is it?

It's a dealer specializing in higher end luxury cars/suvs. So not quite like "Bob's"
