Second Thoughts... should I be getting a 330i or my ordered 530i?...

My Ride: Ordered: 2006 530i on Oct 1st, and due Mid Nov. 6 speed Manual, Navagation, Premium pkg, Sport pkg, Cold Weather pkg, Prem. Sound Package, Titanium Silver, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar wood. 18" 7 Spoke wheels (style 123), euro reflectors, Sat Radio installed.
Thanks for the further write ups. I went to the dealer last night and sat in both the 5 and the 3, as someone told me it might make or break the deal. I have to say, it felt like a bigger car obviously, but I think I might enjoy having more space for my arms and legs. The new 3 is more spacious than my old 330i, and I agree that they have done a good job or increasing the size, while still keeping the car small. truth be told, I am goign to just go ahead and lease the 530i. Navigation and Sirius are important to me, and I think the 5's shape, especially the rear, is the better lookign car, but it's so close, I would be happy with both. Something I really dig...the heated steering wheel. or the way the directional clicks into place. Just a couple of things that make the 5 feel more upscale.
So I am sticking with the 5. I'll give you a report on the performance, once i pick up the car tomorrow.

I always remember getting my E49 on a friday and we had planned to go away for the weekend. Trying to pack the car with our luggage my wife passed me out a large bag and said to me "Looks like you screwed up as all our luggage wont fit in this car". Just what you need to hear after spending E45K on a new car. To make it worse I knew she was right!!!

passed the 24 mark a while ago... Unfortunatly I am closer to 30 than 24

My Ride: Arrived on 12/31/09 2009 Black Sapphire Metallic 535i with Steptronic, Auburn interior, Sport and Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium, PDC, Nav, Comfort Access. Additions include Valentine 1 Hardwire and Dinan Stage II! Graduating from a 2006 - 530i
I faced the same challenge with an E46 wsport package coming off lease. I decided on a 530i (Feb delivery)because of comfort issues, quieter, extra space in the driver's area and the driver's seat was more comfortable than the 330i's. The handling felt close enough. Also, the 530 has a spare and the 330 has none! I am not quite brave enough to go without any space.
