Anyone have a favorable experience pre-ordering a MY2008 5 series?

Would prefer an East Coast dealer.

My usual dealer seems to be too busy to want to earn my business at the moment. I want to order a MY2008 550. I'm looking to make a deal with someone for $x or x% over invoice. Looking for a reputable dealer who is straightforward to work with.

I don't mind a road trip or trucking the vehicle to my home.

Thanks to anyone who replies!

i'd also recommend JMK BMW, I too was frustrated by my local dealer when looking to get my current baby, as NY dealers would not budge on price plus a long wait so I started searching outside of the metro area...came across JMK via their internet sales...they were great to work with as I did the negotiating via email and then a phone call to finish it up...went down to sign some papers and a week later I had my car....I dealt with Chris Laurenzi who was the Internet Sales manager..pm me if you want his email add....good luck

I am a big pain in the ass, and my process (ordered '08 528i) was flawless. Scheduled for week 12 production. It's the second BMW I have bought from him, he's top notch, straight forward, and has been selling BMWs forever. Good luck.

These guys are one of the largest dealers in the US for BMW. They just built this massive new showroom that is built to look like the plant in Germany.

This place is so enormous, they built a 6 story garage to house every car in their lot. Not one single car goes outside if the weather is going to be bad. This way, the paint stays pure on every car they sell. It's sick! They also have 90 work stalls and over 125 loaners! The place is HUGE! Their sister dealership for MB is actually the largest volume MB dealership in the US. They used to be next door to eachother, but eventually they both became so large, one had to move.

Anyway, these guys will beat any price out there due to the volume they do. Not sure about service, as I've yet to take my car there.
