Deals are not hard to find... my friend is picking his 545i up today. Took him 2 months from ordering the car to his specs to get it.. paid only $2000 over actual dealer invoice. So deals are out there...

Please don't take my countering opinion as combative... I do hope you can sell/transfer the lease... I actually think your best option is to try and sell the car outright for the buyout price... 58k isn't bad at all for a car with 2000 miles....

I agree that getting 4k off the car can't be done everywhere.... I was turned down at my local dealer, the most they would offer off was 2.5k..... I ended up getting the 4k off at a dealer much farther away.....

No I did not know I was moving 36 days ago. My company does not make a habit of announcing aquisitions a month in advance. Anyway...I think your logic is still that you will somehow get 4K off the car and while that is possible, most dealers are VERY stiff on price and many buyers are not successful at getting a 4k discount. I have read many posts on this board where people are lucky to squeek a couple of thousand out. I think the short of it is what the used 05 market looks like. I went out to SwapALease and only found 2 2005 545i's. One was new from a dealer. (I hate it when they figure out that the website is there and try to sell new.)Of the two both had a higher payment and fewer options. I think maybe I should just try there and see what happens.

Not at all. I am glad you are putting up objections. It gives me an idea what a more savy buyer may be thinking.

The current purchase price is 58480.00. All of the options are listed in the first post at the top. I think I included everything. What else are you curious about?
