Welcome, FIG. You will find parking and cornering unbelievably easy. Normal cars will not be able to stay on your bumper when cornering. You will delight in doing 90 degree turns and look for opportunities to do so. Your passengers will cringe at first until they catch on to the the drill.

BTW, FIG, is there a chance that the dealer might still have the window spec sheet that shows all of the equipment. I think that it is required by law in Texas to have that sheet presented at closing. Mine was in the car. I have it in my file.

Go in to a corner and hit the apex a little late going way too fast. If the car dials in some opposite lock on it's own then you have active steering.
If you end up in the weeds then you don't. :'( Just remember to keep the shiny side up!

Welcome to the board. (and be careful of some wise a$$ posts).

Do you have the sticker? What options did you get? From that, we can tell you exactly what you have.

Doesn't matter. Sales knows so ask the dealer. Service department knows, too, but sales should be able to retrieve for you.

On the "rims" thing, what wheel do you have? If you have the 124 with run flats, you might want to think again before changing wheels.

I'm pretty sure any BMW dealer can print a new window sticker by VIN number.

It can't hurt to ask...

welcome to the board enjoy your new toy

Didn't they analyse the car options with you before paying for the car??
As for Active steering I think cars with it have an extra light of a steering wheel on the dash.
