Yes, welcome! I was thinking for starters...you could drive the car back to the dealer and have the salesperson do what what should have been done if you personally picked up the car, and that would have been to show you how everything operates in and outside your car. You should especially learn how to use the BMW Assist, if you have it, should there be an emergency. This would also be an opportune time to also ask what options you have on the car. Good luck!

I am from San Antonio Texas. How do i know if my car has active steering?
When your car is parked and the engine is running it only takes a 3/4 tirn of the steering wheel to each side, without AS it's 1 3/4, that's one full turn more!

Do you have black trim or chrome trim around the side windows? You can only have active steering in the US if you have black trim (Denoting the Sports Package). Also if your tires are 17", no Active Steering- if you have 18", you have Active Steering, again denoting the Sports Package.

Well you don't have navigation or HUD. If you don't think you need nav, then you don't really need HUD. (HUD is best with nav.)

Because you didn't get nav, you were able to get Sirius radio.

don't get me wrong I love the car. Just a little mad at myself for not doing more research. Was in a rush for a car. Mine was stolen. Just am looking to add some personal touches. I belive that's what makes cars fun. Mods mods mods thats my moto. Just not sure what can be done. But I am sure you guys will help. I saw a post where the car had red reflectors on the back bumber instead of black inserts. That i would like to change. Where can we get the red ones?

FIG, there is an answer to the reflector question in the FAQ.

You might want to read through the entire FAQ since you're going through the typical new-owner question period.

Don't forget, we're certainly here to help you out -- don't be afraid to ask us whatever you want -- it's just that sometimes reading the FAQ will give you answers to questions you didn't even know you had!
