I was wishing for a bigger 6 with the 2007's but went ahead and ordered a 2007 530i. And will be looking to sell my much loved 2000 540i/6

2007 530i Silver Gray
-Black Nasca Leather
-Cold Weather Package
-Ventilated Seats
-Premium Package
-Sport Package
-Comfort Access
-Rear and Side power Sunshade
-Rear heated seat
-PDC
-NAV
-HUD
-HD Radio (prolly not worth it but I wanted to see)
-Satellite Radio
-Anthracite headliner
-L7
-M Aero Kit

I almost went for the Active Steering even though it was something I thought I would never consider. My test drive was in a car with AS but I didn't know it was there until after the test drive. I was impressed but I'm not sure if it was just the AS or the R&P of the E60 vs the Recirc ball of my E39. In the end I opted not to get it.

I should have it early May

Damn Imola, you basically just bought a 550; which dealership did you work with?

We can do a meet this summer; be nice to see another e60 with Aero kit - as far as I know, there are none near me.

I could have picked up a 550 but for me speed is an issue. I have no self control with the skinny pedal and I hope the 530 will help. I love the V8 but I find my self doing speeds that can land me in the pokey here in the state of VA.

After years of working with VOB I finally went with Sterling. They were just closer but I've had GREAT service from VOB in the past and always worked with the same sales person there.

I'll have to go to some NCC BMWCCA events this year... maybe see you there. I haven't been to many since getting rid of the M Roadster. If not I would be up for a meet elsewhere.

I live a couple miles from BMW of Arlington so really didn't have a choice. They are OK but their service dept really suxs. I always had issues with my 2002 530i under warranty. I've heard good things about Sterling - none about VOB.

Congrats and will see you soon.

Congrats! I think you made a great choice.

I rather get a fully loaded 530i than a stripped 550i.

Count me in for a local meet - I'm in Arlington and I work in Ashburn.

Yeah, you can probably guess what the UU stands for. Wish we were back in Fairfax. Miss the old days.
