Yes, you're reading correctly. My BMW sales associate, Mohammad Afshar of Passport BMW just called and sang happy birthday to me. Pretty cool. That's pretty on the ball - I can't even imagine how many times he must do that every week.

lol... that's funny but cool. I've never really done much with Passport other than a call to them about an E39 a few years ago.

Happy birthday Ron! Is Mohammad a good singer?

(Reminds me of something Toyota used to do in the 80's on the Cressida -- the car chimed happy birthday on your birthday. Yup, the Japanese have way too much time on their hands...)

My sales associate thinks I have the plague (BMW of Arlington). I have no idea where my car is, as of Thursday last week it was not on a boat.

Heh - thanks for the birthday wishes Rudy. My parents were just here from Pittsburgh - had some Bethel Bakery cupcakes! Better than Magnolia Bakery!

No, he wasn't a terribly good singer. He was good and terrible though.

Have patience.....my car finished production on the 13th of March, and didn't leave port until the 27th. Are your sure your car is still in port?

Look at it this way......the anticipation is half the fun, right? (I know, I don't buy that either!!)

The famous one in the West Village. You know - in that SNL skit - "Lazy Sunday", where the two white guys are rapping about going to see Chronicles or Narnia. My sister lives in the West Village - there are lines 15 deep any time - day or night. You aren't permitted to buy more than a dozen cupcakes. A dozen runs you about $22.
