By this time, Will is deep in the French Quarter! I wouldn't expect an answer until sometime Monday...

It's pretty common for these folks to run errands while they test drive a car they just fixed. They probably got carried away and didn't realize the mileage.

I once got 240 extra miles on my car following an overnight service / repair.

After all the complaining I never did find out what they did with my car and all I got was a free tank of fuel in compensation.

Now I ask then to log and record the mileage.

I once left my BMW 7331 at a used car lot to sell for me and when I went to retrieve the car, the owner was out with my car making a parts run. I was pissed and would be really ticket if someone took my car for a joy ride at the Stealership.

I recently changed the valve cover gasket on my 2000 SAAB 9-5 and any oil leak immediately appeared due to engine crankcase pressure.

I see no reason why one couldn't spot a leak right in the garage after gasket replacement.

I'm taking my car in today to Bridgeport, CT BMW to have them investigate my valve cover leakage. You can be sure I'll check the mileage before dropping the car off.

At least their giving me a loaner.

They said I have a 50.00 deductable??????

I asked about the exhaust lifter replacement while they have the car in the shop but that's going to be a battle!!!!

They noted a 130.00 diag test fee????

I have no plans to spend money as I have a WARRENTY so I thought. 7 year 100,000 mile coverage.
