I wouldn't fly economy to Europe if they would give me a new e60!

Last time in coach was Feb 86 ZRH-ORD on AA,

May you always turn left upon entering the aircraft!

I will use miles on American upgrade. I am lifetime platinum. Not sitting in Coach...arrrrg.

How do you figure 9k off US MSRP ? That's pretty close to 500 over invoice were there any other variables i.e. low trade in allowance, buy rate financing thru your dealer for the payoff on the trade, etc?
Who's better than you?
I got 1k over ED invoice back in March 2005. Car was priced out at 67,800 US MSRP. Also receive 1,000.00 BMWCCA rebate check. My total price at pick up was 58,500. 1k over ED invoice is not difficult. Given the lease incentives BMW is throwing on the 5 series, its clear that the cars don't move that well without BMW Financial's support.

Well thats below invioce and on an 07 550 they arent going threre yet . Anyone getting 9K off on an 07 550...anyone?

It all depends on where they are with the model year. If the 06 550's were just about to be introduced I could see them discounting the 545's that much.

Always deal for $xxxx amount over ED invoice.
Using 06 pricing:

Options ED Invoice US MSRP
Base Car 48575 57400
SMG 0 0
Comfort Access 910 1000
Sunshade 525 575
PDC 0 0
Navigation 1640 1800
HUD 910 1000
SPORT PACKAGE 2095 2300
Premium Sound 1640 1800
CWP 685 750
Destination 695 695
Totals 57675 67320
Dealer profit 1000

ED price 58675

ED deals are easy to do because the allocation is free for the dealer regardless of what model year it is. There's plenty of dealers all over the country to do the deal. It just depends on how you want to grind.
It might be a bit harder since the 07's are just coming out but its not impossible.

I know that...I got over 9k US MSRP off my ED 545.
Ok, after continual pounding I finally understand. I went back to my dealer last night and redid my deal. Knocked another $3800 off my price. Im above euro invoice now.

Thanks so much.

Sorry to crash in but us Europeans don't understand European delivery.

Why would BMW give you a lower list, is there some sort of tax break (personal import?) that we don't know about? I thought it was just an amusing jolly that you had to pay for, clearly not.

Would someone mind explaining?

Buying from the UK we can't collect our cars from the factory like you can with MB.
No European delivery for Europe at any price!

P.S. I read it as 'ed (head) too, works just as well.
