E60 Price Increase in the UK

prices in australia have just gone up as well.

my 525i ordered in late december just went up $AU2,500.

Delivery has also been an issue as there was no allocation for my dealer
in february and so i "may" get a march allocation.

I was told that there was an increase of approx $AU1000 in january
which i just avoided and that there is another increase coming in June.

One plus is the extra cost is offset with navigation, which has moved
from option to standard feature. $2.5K is cheap compared to the option
price of $6.5K for navigation.

Of course if you do pay the price increase - and you are buying a 530d You get the EU 4 engine with the dual straight tailpipes rather than the horrid downturned ones.
