Thumbs up

Dear Forum members

I have just joined your very informative forums to enlist your help on deciding if the car I intend to purchase is a good value.

I am in the market for a 05 530i M Sport with less than 20K miles and I found one advertised for ?27K

The car details are:
2005 530i M Sport - Automatic The older 231bhp engine
Metallic Silver with Black Leather
Media Package
Hi-Fi

The car has 9K miles on the clock and with 18 months remaining on its warranty

The car had 3 previous owners (inc. BMW as it was pre-registered) then sold to someone who sold it on - privately - to another person who then part-exchanged the car for a new one.

I was hoping that you'd help me decide if this is a good deal?

Many thanks for your help

It's booking on Glass's @ ?26k part-ex. But I think most dealers aren't paying anywhere near 'excellent condition' prices from Glass, reckon it would of part-ex'd for about ?24-25k so I think they should have some room to negotiate... The leather and media are good but the Hi-Fi won't make any real difference, but nice...

Personally, I'd seek out the newer engine if you can find one at the right price. From memory, they appear in late 05's reg and all 55's.
