Today, I leased a 2005 545i for Bob Smith BMW in Calabasas, CA.

The car is Titanium Gray with Black Leather. It has a Navigation, Sports Pkg, Cold Weather Pkg, Premium Sound Pkg, Satellite Radio and the Power Rear Shade.

The car was a dealer demo with 2200 miles on it. I got for $872 a month for 36 months, 10k per year. My total inception was $2289, which was first month, bank fee and license fee.

Did I get a good deal?

Thks

Hard to say really.
The deal you got sounds correct for a new 545i with those options.

I guess it really depends on whether or not you think a car with 2,200 miles on it is considered new. At least you won't have to worry about your warranty. You are still covered for the full duration. I forget, is it 4 years/50,000 miles or is that wishful thinking?

I'm sorry to say that you did not get a good deal, at least in my opinion and own experience.

Consider:

A fully loaded brand new 2005 545i Steptronic with every option except Active Cruise (so add rear seat heating, fold down rear seats, rear side air bags, heads up display, and comfort seats - that's about $3,400 in additional options) leased for 36 months at 15k per year for almost $300 less in drive offs (inception) and for only $4 more a month (also in Los Angeles so it should be apples to apples sales tax wise) .

The bright side is you have a very nice car that you will likely enjoy very much. Don't let this leave a bad taste (but you did ask).

So what was your final price including taxes, destination, etc., etc?

That is your lease payment. What is the entire final price that the lease payment was calculated from?

Need much more info-i.e. Total cap cost, mileage/yr, money factor, deposit,, etc. My lease included 15K total extra miles, low cap reduction, etc. Point; many ways to design lease , just dont crunch the numbers in the presence of or under the pressure of the dealer, do it on your time, you'll be prepared.
