Just a note to the above - if the Bridgestones are OEM also, that's fine.

?29K, bought 3 months ago, my car also has the folding mirrors, sliding arm rest thing and the service inclusive pack. out of curiousity i did price the car new on bmw.co.uk, with same options worked out at ?40.5K, so was happy with my deal for a 6 month old car with 4K on it at that time.

my haggling powers were possibly aided by the fact that we were also buying the same dealers demo Z4 at that time
Sorry guys I know its a bit off topic.

Northernmonkey,

That's a very good deal even if you were buying the Z4 too.
I got mine when it was 3 months old for ?33K but it only had 450 miles on the clock. I too priced up the options and it came to about ?40K new.

Are the Brigestones runflats as well?

I wouldn't be surprised if they're trying to ditch the runflats for a
normal tire which should offer a softer ride.

For those using the Dunlops, wait until you get more miles to comment on the performance. I had to replace mine at 20k miles because they were very noisy (even at 20 mph) and the ride was noticably harsher.

Replaced them with the Pilot PS2. Only 5k miles but excellent ride quality and noise. Handling is fantastic.

The Pilot S2 would certainly be my first consideration if I decide not to replace with Dunlops.

I prefer the Dunlops and I don't like Michelin at all!
Bridgestone should be allright.

Now I just hope it really solves your problem!

As tires go, I love Michelin, especially the Pilot Sport and Pilot Sport AS. My 330 came with Pilot Sports from the factory and I replaced them with the Pilot Sport AS. The AS is a fantastic tire. If I have to replace mine before my lease is up, I will go with the AS's again, I think.

I removed my Goodyear Eagle NCT5 runflats and am now running Bridgestone Potenza RE750 (non-runflats). The ride is much improved and there is only a minimal impact on handling (I can feel a little more sidewall roll). Overall, I am happy with the Bridgestones, but I cannot offer a comparison to the Dunlops.

i recently purchased a set of pilot ps2 to replace the dunlops i have. they are quite noisy at low and hgh speed. Please comment on what kind of sounds you are getting with dunlops and what type of alloy wheels.

I hope to also hear from those who has replaced the dunlops with ps2 and their expereinces with them!
