CHANGING SUSPENSION AND WARRANTY

When we say, "void the warranty", I assume this only refers to the suspension itself? It doesn't void the overall warranty does it? Say you have a engine problem, that would still be covered,no?

If you guys must do the drop, I'd go with Eibachs's. I have some sitting in my garage ready to be installed. I had H&R Sport springs on my old 530xi and they were damn harsh. I did my homework prior to buying the Eibach's. Here's the main differences:
It seems unanimous across other BMW (and non-BMW) boards that the Eibach's give the closest-to-stock ride but don't slam it to the ground. The H&R's tend have to have a harsher, bumpier ride, with a bit more drop.
Both will give you a car that takes the corners better, but at what cost? It depends on what you are looking for and what kinds of roads you drive on. I am currently on the fence re: my drop. Good luck!
