so last June my car had 44,000 miles which is when my friend at the dealer did the bleed down procedure for the lifters. it now has 61,000 miles and i just got the car back today (dropped off on wednesday). i told them the noise was coming back at times (not loud though) and if they could do something since it was a repeat concern although i am out of warranty now with no CPO or extended warranty. needless to say they replaced all the exhaust lifters under the dealers "goodwill warranty". it may have helped that i know one of the techs there very well. anyways, alot of dealers will help you out sometimes for a few thousand miles after your warranty if it is either a repeat concern or you have been a good customer.

when you find a dealership you like and treats you well, why go anywhere else.

i have 2 different dealers within 15 minutes from my house but this is THE REASON WHY I DRIVE OVER AN HOUR EACH WAY TO NEW YORK TO HAVE MY CAR AT THE DEALER I LIKE!!!!!!!!!!
