Buying E60 with NO warranty: yay or nay?

Thanks for all your replies! It turns out the owner does not want to sell it yet, because he cannot get into another car. The price was $31.5K, which I thought was okay. But given Auburn and SMG, it is so hard to come by with this combo.
My local BMW uses Tier One warranty company as their 3rd party. Does anyone recommend other ones?
