I'm on my second bmw and can say I will probably drive bmw for a long long time. I have never had any big mechanical issues with either of the bmw's I've owne, and I love bmw's performance and driver oriented designs.

This will be my 5th BMW, however my current ride may be my last. Unless of course, BMW provides an option for non RFT.

on my second BMW. second 5 series and would probably get one again if i were on the market

in the future i might consider a lease though . these cars are too complicated. scary to think about what can go wrong after warranty expires. will drive this one to the end, lets see how it performs..fingers crossed

Absolutely would purchase (or in my case lease) another BMW...

Don't be too scared by what you read, most find this forum and/or post here because they have something gone wrong/needs fixing....very rare to see a post about the fact that nothing has gone wrong....

i own a middle of road 5er and have decided i will never buy a bmw like mine again.

If there is a next BMW it will have to be a 550 or an M3/5. No way will i ever buy a middle of the road 5 with out sports package.

I will do more research before i buy my next car. Will also go test drive benz, and audi before i make my decision.

Steering weight goes to Cadillac light once you go from RTF to "normal" tires.... at least that's what happened in my e92 and e90. Besides, I got stranded once when I got a flat somewhere north of Bakersfield and the local shop didn't have RFT's. The tire most certainly wouldn't have held together, it was safer to wait. Almost didn't get my current 5 series if my sales guy hadn't shown me the spare.

Oh wait that makes this my 7th BMW! Come BMW, give us what we want! It won't be too long before my hands start itching for a new car......

I'm going to get the F10. Never had oil problems (knock on wood) and it's a great car overall. No other choice other than to get one!!!

Since the F10 models all have turbos, I'll decide when I see if BMW fixes the HPFP issues it currently has.

Personally, I prefer a S/C over a turbo - so Audi, MB, and GM (if they ever start producing the CTS-V again) would also get serious consideration
