The Money Factor (and that's the interest rate nwilliams) is low right now because the 2007 5-series is 7 months into its life cycle and it is not selling too hot. Competition from the GS350, updated E350 and E550 are all putting pressure on BMW right now. This coupled with the car being very expensive (the E350 and E550 have been repriced and are now available with things like sports package for no extra charge) and BMW has to do something to keep them moving.

Of course, to most of us here, they are worth every darn penny.

That's what the US negative trade deficit causes.

When it comes to buying a BMW it is more like 1 USD equals 1.31 EUR.
