Took the 545 in for some work this am and got a 328 for a loaner. Talk about a shock! Doesn't really even feel like a BMW. Maybe I am spoiled but I could really tell a difference in over all appearance inside and it steers like a Taurus. It's only been about 30 minutes and I can't wait to go get my ride back.

Isn't that a bit harsh....'steers like a Taurus'? Can't imagine that a Taurus steers th?t good.........
I had a '06 330i with sport suspension before my e60, and that drove quite good (steered even better, despite that my e60 has AFS + Dyn. drive)

Yeah, it's tough going to a 3 series. Different levels of insulation, sterring feel, interior finish, materials, etc.... It don't "steer like a Taurus" though

Don't complain! I got a Honda Accord that someone traded in on the lot. That was a piece of junk. I would have much rather gotten a decent car like a 328 instead of that death trap.

At least you got a 328......I remember 1 time they gave me the wagon version, now that thing really blew, I am not even sure it qualified as a grocery getter!!! I usually try to request a E60 or an X car when I go in for service.

It's funny to think how spoiled I've become with the 5. I hereby retract my Taurus comment.

I requested an M5, but that didn't work out as you can see.
