well u r talking about v8 vs i6....
if you drove v8 for a while whatever v6 or I6 will feel akward....

3 series steering is much stiffer than 5.. i like how it is because in high speed it is very useful...
hey it is better than driving actual taurus for rental car...

It suprises me how many people say they get something other than a BMW for a loaner when they take their car in.

Guess I am pretty lucky.

At least you got a 328......I remember 1 time they gave me the wagon version, now that thing really blew, I am not even sure it qualified as a grocery getter!!! I usually try to request a E60 or an X car when I go in for service.
I GOT THE SAME FREAKIN LOANER a couple of months ago!! that car sucked ass... hated driving it around.. since i had my daughter with me i guess he fig. i would like it!
handling sucked and looked like a soccer dad!

Alright, alright guys! Come on!

Poontang Cruiser, now that's pretty funny!

I'm gonna take the 3 out at lunch and give a good drive.
Hehe...just ribbin ya a lil :-) I know how you feel though. I'm in rental cars almost as much as my 545 (i'm bangin this out sitting in a Ford Edge about 2 miles from MIA). I'm almost scared to drive this thing hard because its so uncommunicative on the road. But I'll be back to my bay in 7 hours

I just got a 335i e90 for loaner as my 645Ci went in service. I am having a blast with this lil' beast. It has the SAT with paddle shifters and I have only been in "D" about 20% of the 200 plus miles so far. Yes, it is noisy, no, there is no nice exhaust note, no HUD, but it is still a great drive including the steering. The torque is beyond belief for a non-M 3 series. If I were 50 years younger...

I would have loved to try out the 335. A friend of mine has on with a maunual trans and that thing is fast!!

Just had lunch with a friend that has a B7 Alpina. That is a beautiful car. Only 2 of them in Little Rock.

With few exceptions, ANY loaner car is going to be a let-down after driving our cars! So just hope for a quick repair and then enjoy the hell out of your E60!

It's just a few little problems and an oil change. Should be (fingers crossed) back in my garage tonight....
