Quit yer beechin! My last loaner was a Poontang Cruiser (Crapler PT Cruiser). Now that was a gutless POS...I think the engine would have seized on fear if I had taken it anywhere near a twistie road.

Alright, alright guys! Come on!

Poontang Cruiser, now that's pretty funny!

I'm gonna take the 3 out at lunch and give a good drive.

Given that it's a loaner, so you probably got the base model with nothing. When I got a 328 last time, I actually liked the handling due to the size and weight. And I beat the sh!t out of it, its a pretty solid piece of machine.

Interesting too, I took my sprintbooster off before taking it in and what a difference that made. It's like night and day. Can't believe what that little thing does for the feel of the car..

There is a huge difference between the E60 compared to the E90.

I couldn't agree more. We has a 330 loaner last week and hated it too. Too small. sat too low, slow, blah! I called and they set me up with a 5er after they needed to keep my 545i over the weekend.

YUCK!

I had a 328xi loaner for 2 weeks, got used to it after a while. When I finally picked up my 545 it was like being upgraded a few grades....power, active steering, etc...I gues we're just spoiled

It's funny to think how spoiled I've become with the 5. I hereby retract my Taurus comment.
i think his taurus comment was strictly to enforce how much he LOVES AND MISSES his 545. .. not for the insult to be taken so seriously..

Thanks for the back up. You are right on the money.

I took it out at lunch and gave it a good run up and down a curvey road in DS. Not too bad................

well u r talking about v8 vs i6....
if you drove v8 for a while whatever v6 or I6 will feel akward....

3 series steering is much stiffer than 5.. i like how it is because in high speed it is very useful...
hey it is better than driving actual taurus for rental car...
