Well, unfortunately it's time to try selling the E60. I have a son who is turning 16 and I really should get something better for his learning to drive (auto trans... ). Don't feel too bad for me...I just picked up an E36 M3 for a summer and track toy.

Monaco Blue with Beige Leather and dark wood trim. Sport Package, Premium Package, Manual 6 speed, Heated seats. About 42,500 miles. 2006 has the newer N52 w/ 255 hp (great engine that will stay strong for a long time). I get about 25 mpg for combined hwy/city. Over 30 mpg on the highway no problem. In warranty till 50k miles or about December plus extended warranty available through BMW.

Here are some of the mods:
- Koni single adjustable sport struts
- H&R Sport Springs (?? lowering and slightly firmer than OE sport springs)
- M5 wheel (Style 166) ? staggered 19?. These are genuine BMW not replicas!
- Rear tires are Michelin PS2 285/30ZR19 ? these were just installed in late March
- Front tires are Kuhmo SPT 245/35ZR19 ? still have 50-60% tread (too good to change out with the rears)
- M5 Style Rear Lip Spoiler
- B&B Tri-flow Stainless Exhaust
- XM receiver (I will remove this if desired leaving no sign it was ever there)
- Aftermarket subwoofer amplifier for stock under-seat speakers (also can remove if not desired)
- Hardwired for Escort or Beltronics radar detector -- I'll include a Passport 8500 for e60.net members
- K&N drop in filter
- M-tec shift knob (shorter & weighted) - not shown in photo, but again will incl. for e60.net members
- Mesh lower grill in signiture photo is not on the car right now but is included

Interior in great shape -- no smoking or fast food allowed. Never any body or paint work and no accidents. A few stone chip and small scratches, but not beyond what I think would be typical for the age/mileage. H&R sports, Koni sports, active roll control, and larger performance tires make for a wonderful combination of handling and highway comfort. The Billy Boat exhaust sounds great too. Always at least one extra oil change between scheduled. Zaino'd regularly. Battery recently replaced under warranty. I always thought about getting tint, but never did.

Will include the origninal 18" 123 wheels with Dunlop Wintersport M3's (only used 2 seasons) and BMW winter mats. (I'll also throw in the original RFT's with only 8k miles also if you want them). Will also include the original sport package springs & struts, and the stock muffler.

I bought the car when it had less than 4,000 miles. Original owner complained of a rough idle so BMW bought it back from them (I think they just had buyer's remorse because there have never been any problems with how it runs). I have a clear/clean Michigan title.

Looking for $28,500 which is pretty firm. Original sticker was over $52K, plus lots of money put into the mods. Located in Clarkston, MI (burb north of Detroit). Feel free to ask any questions and I can send more photos if desired.
