Factory M-Sport Package (Package unique to 2003 E39s)
Black exterior
Black leather interior
112,000 miles
Interior is in excellent shape, 9.5 out of 10. No rips, tears, cracks, etc. in the leather... I would be very surprised if you could find an E39 with the leather in better condition. A couple of cracks in the wood trim.
Exterior is in decent shape, I would give it a 6.5 to 7 out of 10. See below for details.
The car has no mechanical issues, as I have stayed on top of all problems and maintenance, so you're looking at a 10/10 there.
Xenon headlights, automatic climate control (dual-zone), sunroof, built in sunshades in the rear (manual side shades, auto rear shade), sport seats with expanding thigh support, black headliner, staggered M Parallel wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, aftermarket head unit with very clean BMW-esque install (Pioneer), aftermarket speakers (Alpine), aftermarket amplifiers to run the system (Alpine). No heated seats. Freshly waxed.
The main reason for this low pricing is there is a crack in the rear bumper, a small-medium paint chip in the front bumper, and there is a missing underbody panel on the front of the car along with the outside temp thermometer (one of the small front corner panels). The replacement of the underbody panel and temperature sensor should be an easy DIY and the parts for it cost about $110. The bumper is probably not an easy DIY for most people, but the crack is honestly not that noticeable. In addition, I would like to sell the car relatively quickly, hence the low pricing.
