I think PDK is standard on these, it's probably the primary reason for the 4.0 0-60 time on the Turbo which is just incredible for a car of its size and class. Pretty likely there is or will be a stick option as every other Porsche (even the Cayenne!) is available with a manual.

What do you have on the Targa by the way? 6-speed or PDK?
I know that PDK is the future, but I'll hang with a stick for as long as I can. I know it's not as fast, but it is more engaging and more fun - at least for me. So obviously, I've got a stick on the Targa. btw, it was built three weeks ago and is on a boat now. Should have it in the next couple of weeks.

The first set of pictures I saw of this car were of the interior. I thought wow, that's nice. Then I saw one of the front end and again I liked it. Then I saw the rear end and that just totally killed it for me. That has to be one of the ugliest cars from the rear I've ever seen. Even the side view is sharp until you get to the back of the rear door. That car is too long to have the rear designed as if it were a small sports car. To get me into the showroom, a car has to catch my eye first. It could be the greatest performance car in the world, but if I see it as ugly it will never get a second look. I realize this is all subjective, and many will not share my opinion and love the look of this car. Thank God we all have different opinions on beauty or we would all be driving the same black box.

No, i agree with you. Although i kind of was like with the whole car. In fact a colleague from work reacted like you. The same WOW factor as he liked it, and then he walked away instantly cursing how they ruined it with that back.
