She doesn't like the ride of the X3 or X5 (feels too much like a truck), but she still wants the AWD and likes "sitting up" higher without going to something like a mini van (thank goodness).
So she keen on the Lexus RX350 (or the RX400h - but I'm not sure on that quality of the hybrid technology)
Does anyone have any feedback on the RX350?

Sucks. Take an E61 awd and let her sit on a pillow if she wants to sit up higher

I think the RX is beyond perfect. Clearly not an X5 but I think there both different vehicles anyways. RX is very comfy and super reliable. You wont find anything negative about that car. I used to own a 300 awhile ago

RX330 drives more like a seden, not SUV. It's cheaper than X5 and more luxry than X3, I think she makes the rigth choice.

Why not just get the Highlander and save yourself a few grand? It's the Toyota RX330. I don't find the Lexus premium over the Toyota worth it unless you have to have the `L' on your nose.

Have you considered the infiniti SUV's? I'd take those over a lexus anyday.
I have a hard time believing that either the X3 or the X5 drive like trucks. The X3 especially. Look for one with servotronic and its got very very light steering...

Thanks everyone for your feedback.
BMW told me that the X3 is build on the frame of the 3 series, so drives more like a car.
The X5 is nice, but the 3.0 litre is a little small to push the larger X5, but the X5 loaded is big coin, in Canadian, around $90k.
Which infiniti? We haven't been there yet ...
Still need to go to Honda and Toyota, but most likely won't be what we want.
Also need to check out the Volvo XC90 and Land Rover LR3 (although concerned about the quality of these).
Finally, no dantec, I purchased my car (545 loaded) and she'll purchase her own (she's a lawyer)
