You really do make me laugh, settle for a M3 because you couldn't stretch your legs in the E55, it is because of your darth vader costume?
for and e55, not in an e55

it means i couldnt afford it , you seriously need to get a grip of your british english. Especially considering that you lived in a british colony

AMG's are primarily for people who want a luxury performance car, but don't really appreciate driving. I've driven most of the AMG's and the bottom line is they're just not very engaging. To parahprase a recent article in C&D said about the CLS 55 vs the M5, 'one drive of the CLS and after that it's not very interesting. With the M5, the more you drive it, the more you want to drive it.'

If you want a luxury sedan, get a Lexus. If you want a performance car, get a Porsche. If you really want a performance luxury sedan, the M5 is it.

things are changing. the AMG performance series are the most dedicated drivers amg ever. But i think that the whole fascination of amg is the effortless power, and i hope they keep it like that . its great

Going against most posts on this thread I would take this SL55 over an M6 any day of the week. The M6 truly looks shite.

I second that. SL55 is much better looking than an M6. Just my opinion.

Right, you go around telling people how many Bimmers you have and then saying you can't afford the price difference between the M3 and the E55, get a grip of your logic. You really do lead people into thinking you are bu**$hitting all the time.

Oh and by the way, Hong Kong is not a British Colony anymore. Don't you read newspaper? Or do you read anything besides car's specs / AMG this and AMG that.

Not driven any AMG myself. I think you can see it like this:

Mercedes is luxury, the S is (and will always be) the ultimate luxury car, every benz has in it's class the most comfort and soft driving

BMW is not that much luxury, but more sportivity, the suspension is harder but you get more sportivity

Audi is between the two above, less luxury than the benz, and less sportivity than the BMW

You can translate that to the sport-versions

The ///M is the most "hardcore", most sportive, less comfort
AMG goes very fast, but you still keep a little comfort
RS/S in between

That's what I think, so don't eat me when you not agree ...
