FQ-400 is about 3.6 to 100km/h (FQ-360 about 4.2) and 1/4 mile in 13.0s. So does FQ stand for F***** Quick?
Flipping Quick according to Ralliart UK.

You're comparing 2 'pimped up' high-pressure turbo (read lots of lag) engines with a highly engineered V10 - no comparison! Cripes, the Evo has 4 cylinders and only recently did the Impreza gain 2 cylinders and made almost a proper engine! Whilst the thrashing of the aforementioned pimp-mobiles may give good performance the driving experience is not subtle! YMMV

there's no alg, i've driven both, the evos too much rice for me. If you put a gt-35r on the subbie (my setupB4 i sold it), then yes, you've got lag, put then after 2200rpm's, you can woop anything on the street. I was running alky injection and a anti-lag external processor standalone ecu to keep it from lagging in the first place,

AKA=AWSOME, it was a great car, but now my 550smg's on the way form europe,im a happy camper...had to sellt he sti and evo to get it tho...itl be well worth it.

BTW: don't get me wrong, the v10 and the smg (not taking into fact the audi v12tdi) are the most technological powerhouses on the road today, but when mated to eachother, by a really complex ecu - you my friend have got one of the "best" car's on the road today.

I've always been impressed with the WRXs the EVOs. These two are fine examples of Japanese motor racing technology. However, I don't get it why it is such a surprise when these car beat the super Euro vehicles under various conditions. We're talking about vehicles that are built for different markets and purposes that IMHO they should not even be compared against each other.

If I was gonna be bothered by a Jap car beating mine, heck, I'd just go buy one as a spare car

Now, if I had an M5 and then an R6 or E63 AMG pulled up along side me, then it's game on!

Different car types for owners with completely different demands.
That cars are lighter, turbo powered, and hungry for consumption.
If BMW supply the M5 with 50-60 lt. petrol /100 km and fit a turbocharger 6 psi on it, then the M5 will do 1245 bhp at least. Will then it be that car for a householder with his kids at the rear seats, travelling speedy safely and quietly long distances?

All that cars are very fast and powerfull, but nothing more positive than this.
All the other characteristics are NEGATIVE on those cars.
You took the words right out of my mouth
2 light cars and 1 2ton car
I dont think so
