In the UK, the Jaguar XF has been awarded "Executive Car of the Year" just ahead of the BMW 5 Series.
(The BMW 520d is voted best Executive Car under ?30,000).

Closest I've managed to get to an XF so far is looking around the one on display at the San Francisco motor show last month but there's no doubt it's a quality piece of kit. I'm looking forward to a test drive when they make it over to the US. Been a Jaguar fan for years, and it's good to see them get some credit for the work that went into the XF.

Does anyone else think the front end is bland? It looks american, almost chevy/chrysler looking. Its weird the side and rear of the car are so nice looking, but the front is just bland. It wouldn't catch my eye if it were driving towards me on the road.

My Ride: F11 520d white, auto, professional sat-nav with internet, variable damper control, sports steering wheel, extended lighting, retractable tow bar, wing mirrors with dimming & folding, full electric seats with memory & lumber adjustment, etc.
In the UK "What Car" magazine has just named the Jaguar XF the car of the year 2008 and yes it beat the E60 in its group first. I cant remember the last time any other car toppled the 5er so for these jurnos to give it that accolade it must be pretty good.
