I know how much some of you love the CTS-V (Article and Photos Linkness)

Hennessey Performance Engineering has unveiled four new tuning packages for Cadillac's highly regarded CTS-V that produces 556 hp and 551 lb-ft of torque in stock form.

The base V600 package includes a supercharger pulley upgrade kit, a K&N air filter, and new engine management software. These tweaks allow the V600 CTS-V to produce 610 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque which enables the car to dash from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 195 mph.

For owners wanting a tad more performance, Hennessey offers a V650 package that boosts the engine's output to 650 hp and 641 lb-ft of torque. This package comes with everything mentioned in the V600 kit as well as 4" cold air induction system, stainless steel headers, a 3" stainless steel exhaust system, high flow catalytic converters, and an upgraded intercooler heat exchanger.

An insane V700 package includes everything from the V650 package as well as a new high performance camshaft and new high flow cylinder heads. With the V700 package, the CTS-V produces 700 hp and 701 lb-ft of torque. This allows the car to rip from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 211 mph.

Hennessy also offers a V800 package that features a custom twin-turbo system, external wastegates, blow-off valves, and a high-performance fuel system with upgraded injectors. Other changes include the addition of a Corsa stainless steel catback exhaust system, high flow cylinder heads, an upgraded camshaft, and new engine management software. Thanks to all these changes, the V800 package produces 800 hp and 780 lb-ft of torque.

That's just insane. And best of all, even the highest package probably costs less than what I've spent on my car on performance mods.

Amazing numbers, though I must wonder how reliable the car would be with all that power running through it! I also think you would need a stack of tires just laying around ready to be installed after a short jaunt, ala Nascar!!

Um, not to seem to uppity, but Cadillac's are only "hot" when your name is Huggy Bear. Geez, anyone else old enough to remember the Cimmaron?

Nice power, shame it fell out the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

+1 Hennessey products usually produce huge amounts of power, but most of their cars suffer from traction loss on the track.
Their cars are usually better on straight away rather than the twisties.
