Default Wagon vs Wagon: M5 Goes Head to Head With CTS-V

Here we have two of the most powerful wagons money can buy: a Cadillac CTS-V and a BMW M5 E61 Touring.

E61 M5 is a absolute beast at the top end! Too bad they never bring the M5 touring to the US

The only advantage of the CTS V wagon over the M5 touring is that....you can purchase one in the US.

Not to diminish the credit of the CTS Wagon, it is a fine contender but, Cadillac as a whole, uses too much chrome in the inside trying to be "too luxurious". I've driven one and it is a beast with great comfort but my eyes hurt after all the chrome shined on my eyes ;-)

I still prefer the AWD capabilities of my 6 cylinder (at least for Chicago) ;-)

Not a fan of the CTS-V wagon styling but I will take an LSA over most other engines, it terms of tuning and reliable power it blows pretty much any BMW engine out of the water, not to mention relatively cheaper bolt-on parts and internal upgrades. The S85 is "special" for a few reasons but not in the same league as LS motors.
