It's so pretty inside-out. Hard decision to make between M5 and E63
For me it was easy, gimme the key to that M5. I am sure the fun in driving involves more than just nailing the gas and knowing that you can go fast in the straight line.
As for the E63 I might take it for a spin but nothing more.

Why hard? Take a look at the front bumper and those holes on the side that reminds you of some souped up Civic of the E63 then you will know which one to choose.

how about a normally aspirated mugen power engine ? 4.0litres and 625bhp at 10700rpm... the e60 m5 engine is defintitely nothing special

Oh yeah, how about a 2.4 litres Toyota Engine with 740bhp at 19,000rpm. Then your mugen engine would be nothing special at all. oh did I say normally aspirated too.

A mugen engine will not last like an m5 engine. The higher the revs the less lifetime you get. let's not forget that the 1st V10 M cars had some problems with the oil pump, not being able to fully keep the oil where it was needed during hard cornering and massive g forces. You have to have a balance of reliability and performance (in our case rpm redline).

PS: Did i mention the prizes the V10 engine won? Best engine of the year, best engine of the year over 5 liters and so on...Nothing special huh? Then if we were talking about screaming engines and the m5 is nothing special then what about the e55 amg engine or whatever amg engine?! huh? LOL In comparison to the m5 the other amg engines seem to be diesels regarding the revband. Read that well the last sentence so it will not arise not necesary comments.

yes and they produce from 630nm to 700nm... the e63amg produces 400nm from 2000rpm and at 3000rpm its alredy at full torque, the e55 amg produces 700nm from 2750rpm.....
and the 6.3 NA engine revs to 7100rpm, not comparable with your diesel and its 5000rpm
