But!
Am really undecided about the transmission choice, since the PDK is not available yet. The auto transmission is said to be faster by a fraction, but I feel I will miss the downshift blip that is foreseeable in the future. What would you do?
Regards,
StealthB

If it's your primary car, I'll pick automatic. Otherwise Manual.

I'm for automatic also. Mostly because i consider a 997 turbo (i dream of it) as a primary car, and a manual is a nono. And much better at drags.
.
Of course in a way i'm in between automatic and dsg. I'[m forced to wait 2 more years and then i'll consider a dsg one for real, not to mention a turbo S.

Its a porsche - a car that is simply about driving - an automatic box would just be wrong
Either manual or wait for sequential - given that the audi dsg is faster than manual AND auto and is based on OLD porsche technology the sequential will be the quickest.
