I like it. I think it looks aggressive and very sporty from the front and rear.
The profile of the car is questionable. What's up with the shut-line of the rear door? It looks funky the way it climbs up the C-pillar and seems to make a 90-degree angle towards the *gulp* Hoffmeister kink.

Ah I just figured out why I dont like it... it looks like a Toyota Corolla from this angle... TOO CHEAP! degraded the class of the car.

Doesn't the back look like a mazda 6 or something of the like?

Price sounds about right and competitive for that motor.

Any word on whether or not those paddle shifters are "SMG-like" in their performance? (i.e. quick upshifts; throttle blip on downshifts, etc.)

Cool

Maybe in 2008 when my ride has depreciated to 35k!

NOT.

The 335i should be more than a match for the IS350.

Nope no word... but I can tell you they'll be NO WAY like SMG. I drove the MINI Cooper S Auto with paddle shifters... driven other BMWs including the E60 E90s with the new software and the steptronic up and down shift... even tho they say rev matches is not close to the shifts of SMG. SMG is Much much better.

Even the M45 "rev" Matching autobox isnt as good as a SMG... I mean... its reall a auto so.

[quote name='Simple1' date='Sep 7 2005, 12:38 AM']Yea but why does it matter? because when you come to a corner, you'll definately see that IS350 in your rear view mirror as it can't even beat the 330i with almost 50 horses less on a track! so i guess Lexus is turning into another MB with hotrods for stop lights, not bad though.

What if there is no corner?

OMG...the side mirror is so huge similar to the bus

I saw one on the street yesterday. Dont like it too much. It is bland as always for Lexus design. Not an eye catcher for sure. But not a bad car for performancewise.
