there you go, don't make concrete assumptions b4 these guys conclude this ugly
issue.
i tell you something i bought a new cf quad diffuser from a seller in Beijing, he promised "it fits",
and it didn't fit well, so i sent it back to him after having fitted it on and taken it off,
he said it fitted well on all his customers, and i had scratched the part when affixing it on,
so i told him to keep it, 1day later he paid me the money, no more questions. (i lost labour and postage)
so no need to make public his website and he even sent me 2 sets of carbon fiber mirror covers as
compensation.
Mr B so give him the tiny "compensation" as promised and Ricky just bury this, its ugly.

I think this has to be answered by the seller ASAP

In other words, I agree with Ricky - if seller offered a compensation, but never intended to give it, its BS - if you don't intend to provide compensation, don't offer it - especially, since you don't really have to.

there is no need to team up or make a "he is right" USA seller versus "the evil" Asian Buyer thing,
just conclude the final "compensation" or whatever and everyone is happy

Yes and no.

If you post a thread like this, you make your business public and shouldn't complain when people speak their minds.

Honestly, you are right about people having to deliver the goods as described - that kind of goes without saying since the beginning of civilization, so I'm not sure why you feel its necessary to reiterate that. But also, as I understand and do correct me if I am mistaken, the goods HAVE been delivered as advertised. I've read the original offer to sell by the seller - it clearly states that the kit is USED.

Beyond that the seller has even attempted to offer some kind of compensation - which was courteous of him, as he did not have to offer anything.

Aside from my not really understanding WHY THE HELL we are still on this issue, I see no problems with ANYONE - you and I included - posting any opinion we have on this thread. I don't know if you feel like maybe I'm teaming up with the seller against the buyer and you need to protect him, or what, but honestly, you have to look at the facts. And like it or not, facts are not in the buyer's favor here. Pure and simple.

Lastly, you don't have to refer to me vaguely - you can address me directly.

lets put it this way, it feels from this side of the fence, all ONE sided, especially from you
"Mr Mediator"

the problems in this sale are as follows
"
1> Without rear pads included in shipment- but sold with pads
2> Front pads and 4 rotors not as description 15000 miles, (AK a E60 specialist garage estimates used over 40000 miles)"

i have 53000km and haven't even changed my pads yet, so maybe he is right???

Mr B send him the missing brake pads with just +/-15000miles (but not 40,000miles)
and Ricky just accept the fact that used is used man.

and you want to post a thread, bashing me, blah blah blah go on then.
from the multi-racial breakdown of this forum it could be an eyeopener.

You know what, if your buddy Ricky was the seller here, you'd be singing a totally different song, aight. So don't get personal with me just bc you don't like what I'm saying. If I'm saying you're wrong, it is not bc of your ethnicity - its only bc you appear to be wrong to me in that particular situation.

on topic:
Your 2 points have been covered and answered previously in this thread.

The only issue still on the table here is whether or not the buyer is entitled to the compensation and whether the seller is a nice enough guy to compensate him. Mind you, the seller is not obligated to compensate him here.

Guys, i think we should leave the seller and buyer to speak
Our opinions will make things worst.

I think what Ricky now wants is to hear an answer/reply from Rich.

The problem is (I think) also the time difference - it is 4:45 in the morning in NY right now, so we won't get an answer from the seller anytime soon...

But I agree with you and Ricky, it is the seller's turn to speak.

Mr. Vv_therussian and Bill,

Peace of world.

It may become a culture different only. Seller make mistake must compensate in here. We are not like seller just provide compensation but not allow negotiate and then go away.
