Mr. Vv_therussian and Bill,

Peace of world.

It may become a culture different only. Seller make mistake must compensate in here. We are not like seller just provide compensation but not allow negotiate and then go away.
I agree. With both - World Peace and the mistakes having to be compensated for.

lets put it this way, it feels from this side of the fence, all ONE sided, especially from you
"Mr Mediator"

the problems in this sale are as follows
"
1> Without rear pads included in shipment- but sold with pads
2> Front pads and 4 rotors not as description 15000 miles, (AK a E60 specialist garage estimates used over 40000 miles)"

i have 53000km and haven't even changed my pads yet, so maybe he is right???

Mr B send him the missing brake pads with just +/-15000miles (but not 40,000miles)
and Ricky just accept the fact that used is used man.

and you want to post a thread, bashing me, blah blah blah go on then.
from the multi-racial breakdown of this forum it could be an eyeopener.
1> honest mistake, seller rectified.
2> What brake pads look like after 15,000 miles is subjective and will differentiate from driver to driver. I had to have my pads changed after 8,000 because I DRIVE HARD.

Ricky was offered a partial refund. I think this is fair and he should accept it and use that money to offset the cost of buying new brake pads. who puts used brake pads on a car anyway. this MIGHT be a first.

Guys, I think it is silly that people are getting bent out of shape and turning this into a ethnic thing. that is absolutely absurd. Do I think ricky is unreasonable for going on and on and on, yes. the first night he posted this in the E60 forum, not buyer and seller feedback, in violation of the terms set forth by Admins, Mods... then continued to thread jack all over the forums with a negative post attacking the seller. that is ridiculous, and right off the bat, he looked like a big cry baby because of how he handled it.

I highly doubt Vlad is taking a side against a particular ethnicity.

i would be very frustrated, and rightfully so.

I would post 1 thread in the buyer/seller feedback in an attempt to smoke him out. not thread jack and post garbage like this in the e60 forum in a scheme to gain high visibility in a short amount of time. Proper etiquette. Spamming other members threads is what pissed me off.

my feelings were not hurt, I dont really even care, I dont even know why i am still posting in this thread.

Good luck to the buyer and seller.

what do you mean "buddy"?, everyone has their idea of a fair sales deal
Ricky is a well respected E60 guy, he can change the lights on the dash, create led lights etc,.
so definitely not some "no-brainer" E60 owner.

the 2 points are the topics of continued discussion, they have been commented on,
so who passed judgement on that??? Sotomayer?

if anything is on the table is a token compensation suggested by the seller,
Ricky
just accept the fact that used can also mean hard thrashed used as well, the lesson is don't buy parts with such
wear and tear, esp if from far away, everyone has their version of used and "with" brake pads, thats why i never sell my old parts, i gave my old exhaust and diffuser, and even cf mirror covers away.

seller is obligated to send worn pads, thats all right???

if Ricky sold me the same deal with no brake pads and highly worn discs, he would have them back in no time,
so Ricky your crime is to have paid in good faith first and not returned them to the seller when they weren't what they were.
i suppose you can still use the discs, get some new pads and don't expect the "compensation" which is in my opinion
not coming anyway.
what bugs me are all these sharp comments on this topic, and silence from the seller.

You know what, if your buddy Ricky was the seller here, you'd be singing a totally different song, aight. So don't get personal with me just bc you don't like what I'm saying. If I'm saying you're wrong, it is not bc of your ethnicity - its only bc you appear to be wrong to me in that particular situation.

on topic:
Your 2 points have been covered and answered previously in this thread.

The only issue still on the table here is whether or not the buyer is entitled to the compensation and whether the seller is a nice enough guy to compensate him. Mind you, the seller is not obligated to compensate him here.

lmao he got exactly what i described. i offered him 75.00 refund and he said no "he demands 150.00" rotflol. i had no reason to lie as i did not even post a for sale on these items. he jumped into my thread about m5 brake conversion and offered he wanted them. my brakes and rotors had 15k on them. i dont really care what his e60 garage crap says lol. ive sold many things on here before such as an mtech front bumper, tpms, wheels etc. never had a problem until this. he paid me 600.00 for a complete set of rotors calipers and pads. thats a fair price that he offered and i acceppted. i even sent him pics of the rotors and pads and calipers before we agreed. i really dont care what he states at this point. he can go around posting what he wants if the forum will allow him to do so.

wait hold on...

did ricky1329 compared rotor with some other rotors? I think he is over reacting...

is it from same brand like same bmw make and models? or he grabbed it from another maker of car??

You know car stopping power is coming from the front break so you will see more wear on the front than the rear. and the picture of the light exposure... comon man

i even looked at my rotor because i put roughly 20000 on current rotor and wear pattern is exactly same and i have few deep scratches also but that doesnt stop me from stopping...

as far as i know, bmw rotors are much thinner than the regular rotors on different brand of car, thats the reason why we cannot resurface the rotor on bmw ... I used to be able to resurface my rotor from honda accord like 3 times before replace it. but Bmw I couldnt resurface the rotor. just replace the whole thing. So he saying refinishing the rotor is not true at all... I think he is trying to scam on rich by saying everything is bad.

Also bmw pads are thinner as i just compared between brand new pads from my friends lexus and mine.

Just curious, why is your rotor and pad green? did you put like thick coat of paint or tape over them to make it thicker???? or maybe who knows it might be a truck rotor or pads
