Sorry for jumping in, I don't have dog in this race, but I hate to see fellow E60 drivers get hosed.
I think your protection lies in avoiding Paypal. Everyone burned here by this person, and QuadM, appeared to be using Paypal. If the vendor is not legit enough to get a real merchant Credit Card account, look elsewhere. (there are rare exceptions)
I've never had an issue getting a credit back on my card for products never delivered.
Something I'm missing?

If they don't have a real merchant cc account, they're not serious about their business.

5800 $ unrefunded plus: 1 wrong kit delivered; 1 delivery is missing parts.

well Detto was nice enough to reply to my email and tell me that he will not give me a partial refund for the missing parts, he said Paul will contact me about this situation buy I haven't heard anything for the past 4 days. I got a rear bumper that I can't install because I don't have the necessary parts to do so. What a joke.

Please add my name to the list. I placed the order Oct 1st. Was told i would receive the items in 2-3 weeks. I received several emails from Detto about the status, but never received a tracking # for my items. I have not received any of the items.
