Holy cow! I go away on business for 2 days and come back to 6 additional pages of amazing drama. This is one of the best threads of all time, outside of this one, of course :

I dont have anything to much against you guys, it's just the service wasnt there behind me when things started going wrong even though the ECU was installed correctly. I called and called one person told me to call this person which lead to issue being unsolved which drive me to the dealer and got the problem fixed. I was promised by the retailer that if any cost came out of my pocket for issues related to the ECU they will reimburse me for them, which i wasnt reimbursed so i just didnt bother after several attempts. I hope all this will clarify for everyone out there that and the customer trust will be regained again.
Didn't we refund you the ECU Tuning cost back to you, after your numerous attempt to contact Jesse at SI was left unanswered. Please correct me if I am wrong. I believed we paypal you back the money. I still have a copy of the transaction.
I am too have a few problems with the SI ECU Tuning on a couple cars and have to get them fixed by the dealer at my own cost. I can have those people come in here and post their experience. I am too are having problem getting the problem solved from Jesse at SI.
But in my case I just simply refund the cost of the Tuning and Get their ECU flashed back to Factory Spec. End of Story, No run around..this and that. I have to refund a total of 6 people out of my own pocket and a cost of one brand new ECU.
CWest, didn't we talked on the phone several times and I remember correctly that SI always give the run around on how you have to start the car for like 10 times before the CEL lights are gone. Correct me if I am wrong. Bottomline is, as a retailer of SI ECU, We didn't get the support or warranty of their products, when shit goes wrong, we're on our own and quite frankly we don't know shit about programming a car, that's why we hire a professional to do it.
I attached the copy of the refund with the personal information crossed out.
Regards

Someone needs to explain me this ECU tuning for me?? I really dont see how anyone can lose money except the owner of the car. I mean a guy comes in attatches his laptop to your OBD and downloads software. If it dosent work, how is the seller loosing money exceot for the fact that he has to pay back the owner of the car. Even if the ECU is taken out and connected by replacing the chip manually. It takes about 2hrs of time. So really what money is being lost to the retailer?

Try selling that logic to Apple, Microsoft, and the Music recording Industry....work was done to produce a product.
