I have been following this issue with some interest for a few days now. I find it encouraging that there is a sense cooperation and community amongst the forum members. This transaction and some of the transactions in the past show how vulnerable we are as an internet community to deception and fraud. I can only speak for myself, but I am here because I have a passion for cars and at this time it is directed towards the E60. I like to know that if I want to purchase something from a member at some point that the community will be there to support an equitable resolution. I would like to thank the deligence of the members and administrators for making me feel safer in any future financial dealings I may have with other members.
Lets remember to focus on the many good members and not let a (few?) bad member ruin our community.

its great how this issue was solved through the forum. Its actually gives me the confidence to purchase through here...
one question for the administrator though is it possible to have a rating system similar to eBay?s, or something where the seller can be verified.
Maybe people who sell on this forum should start registering through a dif. process like verifying name number address through the forum. And the admin can keep track of this. Just in case a scam ends up in court. I know it may seem like a hassle but i think in the end it will make the forum better.
One other thing. It really pissed me off that this P. O. S silverrush or whatever his names, said he is going to start selling to a younger crowd. WTF is that supposed to mean. There has to be a way to start warning people and admin on other site. maybe we can list this guy's IP address
