I had the same issue last year when i ordered my kit. took about 7 weeks to recieve my kit. he originally told me that it was gonna take a week. I really feel bad for you guys that waited longer than me.
i got copies of emails going back and forth begging me not no blast him on the board. Member RJCASTR came to my defense in a thread and he Tony asked him edit his post.
the paint job wasnt up to par. My biggest problem was the fact that he had that money for that long. i could've earn a little interest with that money. He should follow Eurorev way of business on their group buy. For my Hamann
splitter they only ask me $100 deposit and the rest i have to pay when they ready to ship it which i think is fair.

Heres the pm that he sent to RJ in June 9, 2007 .. i sent payment for the kit on May 8, and recieved the kit on June 28.


I will remove that post, im not in the business of ruining anyones rep nor cause more havoc, just stating a couple of facts.

I ask Tony this - Would you be satisfied purchasing something for several grand and expecting it in a reasonable amount of time, to then find yourself having to wait months for it while the other party has had your payment in full since day one? I bet you'd be just as frustrated as many of the people on this board, so do you blame us? No more excuses.

 

this almost sounds like a class-action lawsuit.

 

I am on the current Group Buy for the MTech Kit and was told by Tony I am #4 to receive it. Tony also told us that it could take up to 60 days at the most and I made my payment on May 2. Though I have heard many horror stories about timing, etc I did agree to not harass him so he can do his work. If July 2 comes around and I am still without a kit, then Tony has not kept his word and let the harassing begin!


I guess my point is I am giving the guy the benefit of the doubt. Help me out here Tony

 

I am glad I bought mine directly from the dealer, after reading all the negative posts.. I am not patient at all ... paid my kit on tuesday $1,300.. +tax and today I went to get it... it was a pain LoL boxes are to big and the pallet barely fit my truck...so next week I will have it installed..

 

is there anyone who receive the m-kit from tony WITHOUT THE HARDWEAR?!?!?!?!?!?

That is EXACTLY the point of this thread! If this thread existed prior to my order, I would have done the same thing as you. In 2-3 weeks, my kit would have been on and ready to go- with perfect paint (and lifetime guarantee).

I do not wanted slam his business and cause problems (although that does happen as a side effect), but I just am trying to give e60 members a heads up. If you're OK with the high probability of a long wait, you can order from Tony. He won't steal your money, you will get your kit- it just make take awhile. He also ships directly to your house or shop, so you don't have to pick up the pieces, which are huge and cannot fit in a e60.

When I ordered, all I saw were posts showering him with praise: another awesome job, he's the best, love his work, got my kit exactly as ordered, perfect paint match, marry my daughter........then mine was late and not perfect paint.

Still, Tony is a polite and respectful guy. Just want to give forum members a heads up. Easier for me, since I have already ordered and am not waiting on anything.

thank you lokoloko for posting this thread. I was going ordering this from Tony this summer but I am very impatient and may consider other options.

 

this is good then I can explain one by one, we painted the rear bumper for you but it was a non pdc one and I wanted even give you the non pdc jet black bumper
for FREE just because you waited and wanted to do a big favor is that true or not? and then we realized just before I was giving your box to my UPS guy you sent me
a TEXT message saying that your kit was a PDC not to mention I explained that I had to take care of it from my pocket since my cost is around 600 for ONE M rear bumper
by itself painted and shipped with hardware kit and you paid $399 with rear bumper grou buy which did not go through

and just to let everybody know I am under lot of pressure to get everything on time I totally understand the waiting situation but PARTS SHORTAGE and working with
a busy body shop slowed down the whole process up to now, the backordered kits coming in one by one and I am working EVERYDAY to get the kits on time

not only that the body shop just raised the price of painting was 500 for the full kit now I have to pay 600 I lost my 100 from each kit that ordered with the Group buy
I just finished taking orders for. Now I have to send them without making any money.

also lokoloko my phone is NEVER disconected sir, its always on till 9pm eastern time I just sent you a text message today for the update.
it was only half day disconnected I did not have time to pay online that day!

I just need patience from everybody I did over 150 painted kits through out ebay and forum and 99 percent came out absolutely great, if any problems
I did fix it and I still can. I have warranty for all painted kits if anything I can pick up and resend the kit in 3 years with no questions asked.

I wish other people can see this and chime in that way it will be a proof that I am here to serve my best.
