All,

I've actually had a very good and what seemed constructive chat with Tony yesterday. I'm in the Program Mgmt biz and work on timelines for a living.. I offered to produce a ver simple Order Tracking spreadsheet that will act as a living document for Tony.

The Order Tracking Spreadsheet consists of multiple columns that Tony imports his orders into so he can track the status of each order efficiently. The columns have the following:

Customer Name - Handle - PayPal Address - Date Paid - Product - Color - Date Ordered from BMW - Date Delivered to Paint - Date Paint to be Completed - Shipped - Tracking #, etc..

Each column has a sort functionality so Tony can sort by dates, color, customer's name, etc. It's very easy to use and will allow appropriate tracking for all orders.

Tony is going to set this up so he can efficiently track orders and hold his dependencies accountable for their actions.. Remember.. your the customer of the paint shop. They should be meeting your expecations as well.

If you need help importing the data Tony, feel free to let me know.

if your customers are complaining why can't you just offer them a full refund if your orders are on backorder? you'll save alot of headaches and you'll have one less angry customer to deal with.

Note (Opinion): This is clearly a loophole created for him to establish a buffer of protection to keep your money in his pocket. Laying the burden of responsibility to others (pointing fingers – that’s a 4 fire alarm warning). Ahhh… The delay, what a great device o create a delay tactic and give customers multiple reasons to delay the delivery of product. ANY reputable business, with reasonable amount of time (one (1) month at the most), would deliver a product paid by customer.

Excuses:
Body Shop
Part Delays (shortage)
Painted Wrong Colors
Paint Colors in Batch
It’s on its way
Dropped laptop and lost info

Note (Opinion): These “Terms and Conditions” are changed constantly; I don’t think anyone electronically confirmed to “Terms and Condition” like reputable sites. Due to your living T&C, it doesn’t whole-heartedly hold water without having your customer electronically acknowledging your T&C (e.g. like reputable sites). I suggest you operate your business from your website to facilitate any transactions and execute the T&C at the point of sales.

If the buyer wants to own without the sellers management the seller will train the buyer.

***Conclusion***
Overall, this sounds like a case of a neighborhood kid who was selling good products for a school fundraising program. In the beginning of his venture, he made a few point of sales and delivered products promptly at one point. Then drew in a lot of customers because of the great products, which also drew in a tempting amount of money. That temptation overwhelmed him; this concocted to an idea that personal monetary issues can be dealt and play catch up in delivering products. A hole has been bored and now a real problem lingers over his head because he has too many people waiting for their merchandise(s).

Here are your options if you are at crossroads with quad_m and now you have to decide what to do to resolve this matter.

Option 1 – EVERYONE who is dissatisfied CAN dispute through Paypal, but this must be done by everyone. At one point or another, quad_m will have to deliver his promises within certain days or Paypal with end up returning your money (especially with overwhelming amount of disputes for one vendor).

Option 2 – Contact your credit card company and file dispute/claim regarding the point of sales. Its even better if you have American Express.

Option 3 – If all of you want to get at quad_m, you should post on his string when and what you purchased from him (e.g. 10/01/07 - Sapphire Black Non-PDC M-Tech Kit). If someone is up to it, consolidate this list by group of colors and in a chronological order and show quad_m his monumental problem he has to fix to make customers hapy.

I have one (I mean a few) thing(s) to say to you (quad_m)… Wake up and smell the coffee, because karma is a pain in the arse. Fix your problems and stop blaming others for your deficiencies. It is a lack of better judgment to put yourself in this bad situation. You might be fat and happy because you have food on the table for now, but you will not be able to make any money after your pot dries up and reputation is down the tube. You came this far, hold your testes like a man and BE A MAN OF HONOR.

because I pre paid all the kits and I do have many bumper covers came in to painted and more on the way.

I am a man of honor thats why I served hundreds of customers worldwide sir. Just to let you know with a very small amount of profit I have been selling the products
since 2 years in this forum. I have been working for only for Reputation and best customer service. But the list you made above parts shortage, body shop's schedule
are %100 true and I do not lie or mispresent my services in any way. So please do not panic my customers and let me do my job sir.

You may have served those customers in the past, but your words have lost all credibility due to your downward spiraling service that reflects your reputation. We are talking about the present (now) and FYI your customers are already mad, pissed, etc you name it. Too late, but the truth of the fact is that you are like a severely dilapidating Katrina FEMA trailer. However, we will see whether or not you will emerge from your failures. Like I said....KARMA!
