I have HTC S710 (based on Windows Mobile 6) on preorder. Does anybody know if address book will be available via iDrive with WM6? My iMate SP3 pairs with iDrive, but address book is not available. SP3 is WM4 based. I haven't tried Windows Mobile 5 devices though.

I think WM5 onwards should be OK. I did load WM6 on my HTC TyTn and all was fine. However I've now reverted back to WM5.

I concur. I would expect a more evolved stack with more feature-laden profiles. If anything, these should be the best phones in terms of compatibility.

HTC P3600 with WM5 and new firmware that unlock internal GPS works fine with BT iDrive on address book transfer.

Can you post some pics for a size comparison with another phone you might have... Also, how is the sound quality and earpiece volume? One of my biggest complaints about my TyTn was that the earpiece volume was a little tinny and low.

I gave away my old iMate SP3 already. S710 is maybe 1/4" wider and perhaps 1/4" shorted. It is heavier and feels more solid. I like it. Earpiece volume is louder than iMate and right volume is also higher. I'll try to find another older phone. Meanwhile, http://www.mobile-review.com/pda/rev...c-vox-en.shtml has some comparo pictures
