Voice commands for e815

My Ride: 2006 530xi. Deep green with beige interior. 6 speed manual. Premium package.
Connected my phone no problem
Contacts went in without a problem
But I can not et the voice recognition to work woth contacts.
Isay Dial and the name and then it asks me for a number
I can say the number and it will dial
but if I say Dial Maria - it does not work
What am I doing wrong?
